Located at the entrance to Évora, Alentejo, in the region of Pera Manca, is a small vineyard of 5 hectares, named Quinta da Confeiteira.
The revival of the wines of Quinta da Confeiteira by replanting and restructuring the vines happened in 2009. We planted 5 red grape varieties of DOC quality. Then 4 years later, in 2013 there were grapes to harvest again at Quinta da Confeiteira, with the first harvest wine arriving at tables at the beginning of 2016.
So, since 2013, it has been our pleasure to work with the creedo of “it takes great grapes to make great wine” so we can bring you wines of the highest quality which are just a little out of the norm.
The diversity of our team gives this project a very special distinction. Although, we all have a common passion for wine and for vines.
We are five people from Portugal, Spain, the United States and France working together to create 5 wines with character and class.
